The show’s international tour opens at the Grand Théâtre de Québec on June 12 Smile! Chaplindedicated to the work of the legendary British actor and filmmaker Charlie Chaplin.
For this first creation by MRUA International, designers Richard Aubé and Caroline Perron received the green light from Charlie Chaplin’s children and at the same time permission to fully exploit the late artist’s musical and cinematic work.
It is a 100% Quebec team, made up of 14 artists and 120 scene artists, responsible for carrying out this major tour, originally scheduled to start in 2022.
This show, which combines music, cinema, circus, dance and technology, will be performed five times at the Grand Théâtre. He will then set off for as yet undisclosed destinations.
