SNC-Lavalin wins three hospital expansion contracts

The expansion and rehabilitation of the hospitals in Chicoutimi, Sept-Îles and the Charles Le Moyne hospital in Longueuil will be carried out by SNC-Lavalin.

SNC-Lavalin announced Thursday that it has won three contracts with Société Québécoise des Infrastructures (SQI).

The projects mainly concern the extension and refurbishment of the operating rooms and certain specialized care units in the Hôpital de Chicoutimi, the Hôpital de Sept-Îles and the Hôpital Charles-Le-Moyne in Longueuil.

“The expansion and modernization of these three hospitals will significantly increase their capacity and improve patient care in the province,” Ben Almond, president of Engineering Services, Canada, SNC-Lavalin, said in a statement Thursday.
