The rap legend announced that his daughter Cori Broadus, 24, is “doing better” after suffering a stroke on January 18. “She’s doing a little better,” he told People on Jan. 23.

When the journalist asked the Gin & Juice rapper whether the severity of his daughter's condition had caused him to put life into perspective, he replied laconically: “Yes, yes. So similar”.

Shortly before her father's news, Cori Broadus herself revealed details about her health via Instagram.

“They took me off the heparin [anticoagulant] tonight and I can probably go home tomorrow,” she wrote on Tuesday.

She also stated that her health “improved” over the weekend. “God is working overtime, you hear me! My kidneys were in very bad shape… The doctors came this morning and said they were doing tremendously better!” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

Cori Broadus, CEO of beauty brand Choc Factory, announced last week that she had suffered a “severe” stroke.

“I started crying when they told me. I'm only 24, what have I done in my past to deserve all this? she had written.

The young woman has suffered from medical problems since childhood. He was diagnosed with lupus at the age of six. Snoop Dogg had Cori with his wife Shante Broadus. The couple are also parents to two sons, Cordell (26) and Corde (29).
