Snoop Dogg has said he has “nothing but love and respect” for Donald Trump – despite issuing a barrage of insults against the former president in recent years.

The legendary “Drop It Like It's Hot” rapper, 52, said the 2024 Republican candidate never did anything to him and praised him in a new interview.

He didn't go so far as to endorse him for the upcoming general election against Democrat Joe Biden, but Snoop said Trump did “great things” when he pardoned one of his friends, Michael Harris, from his prison sentence in 2021.

This is despite Snoop previously parodying Trump's assassination in his music videos, telling people not to vote for him, calling his fans “stupid motherfuckers” and saying he was a “racist fucking clown president” during his last performance Tenure.

Snoop, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., appears to have turned over a new leaf.

The legendary “Drop It Like It's Hot” rapper, 52, said the 2024 Republican candidate never did anything to him and praised him in a new interview. They are pictured in 2011. Snoop Dogg fakes an assassination attempt on the president and fakes the shooting of a clown figure of Donald Trump in 2017 in his video “Lavender.”

Speaking to the Sunday Times, Snoop said: “Donald Trump? He didn't do anything to me.

“He has done nothing but great things for me.” He pardoned Michael Harris.

“So I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.”

In 2021, the rap mogul praised the “great job” Trump and his administration did “on the way out” after learning that cocaine kingpin Michael “Harry O” Harris had been pardoned.

Snoop said at the time, “This is a great job for the president and his team on the way out.” They did a great job while they were there and they did a great job on the way out, too. Let them know I love what they did.”

He continued, “It's amazing what the work of God can actually bring to life to make people realize that there is a God.”

Snoop urged furloughed government workers not to vote for Trump again because “he doesn’t give a damn about you all,” in a profane tirade against the president in 2019. Speaking to the Sunday Times, Snoop said: “Donald Trump? “He didn’t do anything to me. “He has done nothing but great things for me.” He pardoned Michael Harris. That's why I have nothing but love and respect for Donald Trump.

In 2011, Snoop Dogg joked that Trump would one day run for president after Barack Obama's term, saying, “Why not?” expelled.”

Snoop had a somewhat strained public relationship with the former president. He has shouted “Fuck Trump” multiple times and even parodied his assassination.

In January 2019, the Doggfather posted a video on his Instagram urging government officials not to vote for Trump because “he doesn't give a damn about y'all.”

He also used the profanity-laced message to directly attack Trump and his supporters, saying, “F*** him too and f*** everyone with Donald Trump.”

Wearing a blue hat with the slogan “Make America Snow Again” on the front – a reference to Trump's election slogan and the Jeezy song “Snow Season” – he says: “I just want to say this real quick about political shit.”

“All the people in the federal government who aren’t getting paid right now will absolutely not be able to vote for Donald Trump when he comes back to power.”

“If you vote for him, you stupid motherfuckers, I’m telling you all too soon.”

Trump, something of a predictor of fate, ran for president again – and with his victories in Iowa and New Hampshire, the likelihood of him being on the Republican ticket is becoming increasingly plausible.

In September 2018, Snoop made his feelings known during a podcast interview by saying a big “F*** you” to Donald Trump and a “F*** you” to his supporter Kanye West.

Snoop said of Kanye: “Well, you have to understand that a lot of your fans are racist.” There's no getting around that.

“I'll tell them straight, muthaf****.” If you like that, n**** [Trump] you fucking racist. Fuck you and fuck him. What now?' said the rapper.

N****, he drew the line. He drew the muthaf*****' lines. “There were no lines in front of him,” Snoop continued.

In March 2017, Snoop Dogg parodied an assassination attempt on a president in his new music video for his album Lavender.

In the climactic scene, the rapper pulls out a fake gun and points it at a clown-like figure of President Donald Trump with his face painted orange.

The clip focused on current events at the time, including a parody version of Trump named Ronald Klump.

In November 2017, Snoop Dogg also alluded to the assassination of Donald Trump for the second time that year.

The rapper posted a picture of the cover of his latest album, “Make America Crip Again,” on his Instagram account.

The image showed Snoop Dogg standing over a body covered in an American flag.

A toe tag reading “Trump” was added to the body.

Snoop said at the time: “I feel like a lot of people are making cool records and having fun and partying, but nobody's addressing the real issue with this damn clown as president and the shit we're dealing with.” So I wanted to take the time to put a party record on pause and record one of these records for now.'
