Sofía Vergara put a Spanish presenter “in her place” who questioned her English skills NTN24

The Colombian actress Sofía Vergara was part of the talk show “El Hormiguero” by the Spaniard Pablo Motos for the first time.

In the middle of the interview, the actress revealed unpublished details about her new character Griselda, a drug trafficker who has been operating in Miami since the late '70s and will be part of a new Netflix series.

Likewise, she referred to her role in Modern Family, where she played the iconic Gloria Pritchett, the only person Pablo Escobar feared throughout his life.

However, at some point the actress was asked by the moderator about her English skills.

“How do you say “Modern Family”? In English it’s just like that…” says Motos.

Vergara immediately asks, “Is this wrong for me?” Oh, because you speak better English than me.”

He also asks, “How many Emmy nominations do you have in the United States?” Or how many times have you been nominated for the Golden Globes?”

The questions left Motos speechless and he didn't know how to answer the questions that, according to several netizens, made him ridiculous.

Sofia Vergara is divorcing Joe Manganiello

Colombian actress and presenter Sofía Vergara responded to Joe Manganiello's divorce filing, according to entertainment and celebrity media Page Six.

The Colombian submitted her legal documents on July 31 in response to her ex-partner's divorce petition, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their separation.

Vergara asked the court to uphold the prenuptial agreement and requested that certain assets and possessions, such as jewelry, artwork and “other personal items,” be hers.

The news comes after American actor Joe Manganiello officially filed for divorce in the Los Angeles County Superior Court.

Manganiello cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the divorce and listed July 2 as the date of their separation.

In the petition, the plaintiff pointed out that there was a prenuptial agreement regarding the division of property and maintenance of the spouses.

It should be noted that on July 17, the couple announced their separation after seven years of relationship, which took place on November 22, 2015 at a lavish wedding in Palm Beach.

The news was reported by entertainment and celebrity site Page Six, which cited a statement in which the couple confirmed their divorce.

“We have made the difficult decision to divorce. “As two people who love and care deeply for each other, we politely ask that you respect our privacy during this time as we move through a new phase of our lives.”
