Solidarity mission at the youth center Thetford Mines – Courrier Frontenac

Thetford Mines Youth Center has decided to take part in a solidarity mission and put together Christmas hampers for families in difficult times. The goal is to give back to the community and bring the magic of Christmas to the homes that need it most.

The MDJ also invites families in need to get in touch, as well as all employees who feel the desire to take part in this great campaign. If you know a family that could benefit from our help, or if you feel this need yourself, please do not hesitate to contact the organization by email at [email protected] or by phone at 418 before December 3rd -335-5075.

“We will be on site to support and register interested parties. Every gesture counts and together we can brighten up houses and spread the Christmas magic in our community,” emphasizes the MDJ.

Remember that Thetford Mines Youth Center was founded in 1984. It is an association of young people and adults who, on a voluntary basis, have made it their mission to organize lively meeting places in their community where young people aged 12 to 17 can, through contact with significant adults become critical, active and responsible citizens.
