Skittles, Starburst and Lifesaver maker Mars Wrigley Confectionery is recalling several flavors of the brand’s gummy candy because there may be a very thin strand of metal embedded in the candy or contained loosely in the bag.

“We have received reports from consumers who have brought this matter to our attention and are not aware of any illnesses to date,” the company said in a statement.

A spokesman for Mars Wrigley told FOX Business it is working closely with its retail partners to remove all potentially affected products from store shelves. Consumers can verify that they purchased the recalled product by checking the 10-digit manufacturing code on the back of the package.
