American actor and comedian Dana Carvey was honored for his participation in “Saturday Night Live.”confirmed the death of his son Dex Carvey on Friday.
According to the actor and his wife Paula Zwagerman, the man’s mother The 32-year-old said in a statement shared on social media that the cause of death was an “accidental drug overdose.”
“It is no exaggeration to say that Dex loved life. And when you were with him, you loved life too. “He did everything for fun,” the statement said. “But most of all, he loved his family, his friends and his girlfriend Kaylee,” the parents wrote in the text published on November 16th.

“He was talented in many areas (music, art, cinema, comedy) and was passionate about all of them,” they explained.
The parents also referenced addictions their son may have had: “To anyone who struggles with addiction or loves someone who struggles with addiction, you are in our hearts and in our prayers.”
The man was an actor and editor and appeared in productions such as “Beyond the Comics” (2014), “Carpool Pandering” (2016) and “The Funster” (2013).
Carvey’s eldest son passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
The comedian also shared some photos of his son on his Instagram account, one of which shows both of them at work. “Dex and I work together. What a joy,” he wrote in the description.
