The star of the famous show “Pawn Stars”, Rick Harrison, is mourning the loss of his son Adam, who died at the age of 39.
The Harrison family confirmed the news to TMZ on Saturday, while many American media outlets, including TMZ and People Magazine, reported that he died of a drug overdose.
Las Vegas police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances that led to his death.
Rick Harrison also publicly responded to the news in an Instagram post.
“You will always be in my heart, I love you Adam,” he wrote.
Although the series Pawn Stars features several members of the Harrison family, Adam has never appeared in front of the camera and, unlike his brother Corey, has lived his life out of the spotlight.
In a message to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the Harrison family asks the public to respect the privacy of their loved ones as they grieve.
