Son of Rick Harrison from Trato Feito, dies at age 39

Adam Harrison, 39, son of Trato Feito program creator Rick Harrison died of an overdose on Friday (1/19) in Las Vegas. The Metropolitan Police Department has launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Adam's death.

The Harrison family is the protagonist of the reality show Trato Feito on the History Channel, created by father Rick. The show depicts everyday life in the pawn shop where they work.

Adam worked at the facility, but only before the series debuted in 2009, so he was not as wellknown as his brother Corey, who also appears on television.

The family released a statement on the Las Vegas ReviewJournal website confirming the cause of death and revealing that the body was found Friday. “Our family is deeply saddened by Adam’s death. We ask for privacy as we process the loss,” the statement said.

Rick also mourned his death on Instagram: “You will always be in my heart! I love you, Adam.”

The plot of Trato Feito takes place in the Pawn Shop Gold & Silver store, the main pawn shop in Las Vegas. The company was founded in the 1990s and has been under the control of the Harrison family for three generations. Patriarch Richard Harrison (who died in June 2018) is supported by his son Rick Harrison and grandson Corey Harrison, who has worked there since childhood.
