Through his daughter Kelli Williamsit was announced that the actress Shannon Wilcox He died at the age of 80. According to Kelli, who also had an important career in the entertainment industry, Shannon has died last September 2nd in Los Angeles.

With nearly 50 years of experience, Shannon has been involved in many productions in both film and television. He made his debut in the famous 70s series Starsky and Hutch, and in the following years he made brief appearances in other renowned productions such as Sirota’s Court, Dog and Cat, Hawaii Five-O, Hart to Hart, Cagney & Lacey, Magnum, PI, Remington Steel, Dallas and Buck James. However, her first notable role came in the 1984 film “Songwriter,” in which she played the role of Anita and shared the lead role with Willie Nelson.

Seven years later, Shannon was part of the film Frankie and Johnny, in which she played a prostitute named Christine alongside Al Pacino. Runaway Bride, Forced Mom and Seven were some of the most notable films Shannon appeared in over the following years.
Although she played mostly supporting roles in her career, Shannon worked in front of the camera for much of her life. One of his last appearances was on the show Grey’s Anatomy in 2020. For Hollywood Reporter, her daughter Kelli shared a few words about what Shannon was like in the last days of her life. Kelli, best known for her role as Lindsey Dole in the series “The Practitioners”, assured that her mother still loved to dance and was also a polyglot who spoke a total of four languages.
“He laughed easily, lit up every room he entered, and loved to travel and make friends around the world.. He spoke French, Spanish and Italian. One of his great passions was dancing tango and salsa, which he danced wonderfully well into his 70s. “His dance card was always full.”
On May 21, Kelli shared what was likely the last photo of Shannon. This happened during her 80th birthday celebrations, and although the years were obviously passing by, the actress also seemed very happy to be surrounded by her family.
