Sophie Guidolin shares the Lust Minerals skincare routine she followed to clear up her adult acne

Fitness instructor and mother of four, Sophie Guidolin, has shared the simple four-step skincare routine she swears by to clear up her adult acne — and the results speak for themselves.

The 32-year-old nutritionist and personal trainer behind THE BOD took to Instagram on Tuesday with a transformation photo to show what her skin looked like a year ago.

“I said to Andrew the other night, imagine if you could look ahead a year and know how good life would be?” Her caption began.

“Being able to go back and reassure yourself that whatever life has thrown your way is simply to gain strength, build resilience, and gain more experience to better empathize with those that may need it in your future.

“At one point in my life my skin was so bad I didn’t even want to leave the house.”

Sophie has adjusted her routine to include just four products from Australian brand Lust Minerals, the Superfood Gel Cleanser, Vitamin B Serum, Hyaluronic Acid Serum and Probiotic Moisturizer.

“If you want to be able to order products and know they’re the clean option, then Lust is your choice,” she said.

Previously, Sophie revealed that the pursuit of macronutrients is the “life-changing” secret behind her incredible physique.

She recommends having a menu of fresh meals at home and urges everyone to have fresh produce ready to use when preparing meals if they want to prevent binge eating or poor eating habits.

IN THE GYM: WORKOUT DOS AND DON’TS

“The biggest mistake women make when exercising is that they’re too scared of strength training and they get stuck with cardio,” Sophie told FEMAIL.

“While this helps burn calories, it doesn’t help change your overall shape or increase your metabolic capacity.

“That means your goals are harder to achieve and sustain over the long term.”

Still, Sophie said the best workouts are the ones that “make you happy.”

“There’s no better workout than feeling motivated and inspired, so find things you really enjoy doing,” she said.

IN THE KITCHEN: BALANCE, NOT RESTRICTION

It may come as a surprise given her slim frame, but Sophie refuses to eliminate any food groups from her diet.

“I avoid cutting out certain food groups or macronutrients because I believe in a balanced diet,” she said.

“I think it’s really important for women to learn that cutting out entire food groups can be a good ‘quick fix’, but not an overall long-term strategy – if you start eating those foods again, you’ll gain back all those unwanted pounds.” ‘

Still, she names six staples you’ll always find in her kitchen: almond milk, bananas, frozen mango, chia seeds, coconut yogurt, and watermelon.
