Joe Jonas filed for divorce from Sophie Turner on September 5, 2023, after four years of marriage.
The “unhappy” singer, 34, reportedly tried to “save” his marriage to the 27-year-old Game of Thrones star before filing for divorce as a “last resort,” according to Page Six.
Turner’s “party” has seemingly caused a rift between the two, as Joe is more of a homebody and “likes to stay at home.”
There were a number of signs pointing to trouble in paradise, including Sophie admitting she was homesick for the UK and the couple recently selling their Miami villa.
The couple married in two ceremonies in 2019 and have two children together: three-year-old daughter Willa and a one-year-old daughter, whose name they did not reveal but who was listed as DJ in the divorce filing.

The “unhappy” singer reportedly tried to “save” his marriage before filing for divorce as a “last resort.”
According to a source who spoke to Page Six, the two have been “going through this year” after it was reported that Turner’s alleged “partying” led to a breakdown in their marriage.
“Divorce was Joe’s last resort. “He never wanted to break up his family, but he had to do what he thought was the best course of action for his girls,” the insider added.
“It kept building and Joe finally reached a point where he felt he had exhausted all options to save the marriage.”
Reports emerged that Sophie’s lifestyle was the reason her estranged husband filed for divorce.
Apparently the actress “likes to party,” which led to a conflict with the musician, who is more of a homebody.
