Southern California High School Teacher Suspended for Sexually Explicit Lesson on Anal Sex

An anatomy teacher at a Southern California high school has been suspended after parents drew backlash over a “sexually explicit” anatomy lesson that one parent called “obscene.”

The physiology and environmental sciences teacher, reportedly known as Judy Rehburg, was caught on camera last week teaching seniors about anal sex, vibrators, the G-spot and how to get pleasure from the prostate.

In the one-minute, 20-second clip, the teacher from Alta Loma, California, can be seen using charts to teach graduate students at El Dorado High School in Placentia, Los Angeles, about prostate gland stimulation and “male”. “Anal sex with men”.

Rehburg, who has worked at the school for at least seven years, also tells her 17- and 18-year-old students that sex toys are available at retailers, including Target.

After the video received widespread internet circulation, parents at a Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District (PYLUSD) board meeting vented their anger at the class — while students spoke online in their defense.

Rehburg’s teaching was described by one parent as “obscene and perverted,” while another said she was “everyone’s favorite teacher who loves nature, plants, birds and all biology.”

One PYLUSD mother, Lisa Aultman, branded Rehburg a “political activist” who she says is discussing “completely inappropriate, obscene and perverted” material with teenagers.

“I have a few comments on the El Dorado teacher who was caught on camera teaching children about male to male anal sex, the sexual pleasure of the prostate, the G-spot, butt holes, vibrators and how.” teach them how to use them and where to use them buy them,” she said at Tuesday’s live-streamed board meeting:

“This was a totally inappropriate, obscene and perverted discussion that this teacher had with high school students and funded with our tax dollars.”

‘Why is our taxpayer money teaching sexually explicit material in our public schools?’ Who approved this material?’

Altman added, “I don’t send my kids to school every day to learn this nonsense introduced by a political activist teacher…”

“These activist teachers are abusing their positions of authority to sexualize and indoctrinate our children. Please do something about it.”

Alyssia Griffiths, PYLUSD communications director, said the teacher was placed on administrative leave after parents filed an official complaint.

“District staff are trusted to exercise professional judgment when deciding whether or not a particular topic is appropriate for study or discussion,” she told Fox News.

“In the classroom, staff act on behalf of the district and are expected to adhere to the adopted curriculum and should not hold personal opinions or viewpoints.”

“Against this backdrop, PYLUSD and EDHS will continue to work diligently to ensure all students are given the opportunity to learn in a safe and respectful environment.”

After Rehburg’s suspension, students have campaigned for her online, including via social media sites and the hashtag #freejudy.

Via an Instagram account of the same name, an unnamed student who said they can be seen on the left in the original video said her words were taken out of context.

They said, “I want to say that whatever our teacher teaches is instructive.”

“This is an anatomy/physiology class.”

“When this video was released, Ms. Rehburg was merely answering a student’s question anatomically and not in any way harmful.”

“The question she answered was about the male prostate, and she gave the appropriate answer in a way a teenager would understand.”

Others also defended Rehburg in the comments, including one who agreed there was “nothing promiscuous or lewd in her tone.”

They added, “I am more than certain that not a single student in the class felt uncomfortable.”

“She made sure to explain the whole syllabus to us at the beginning of the year and students and parents had to sign off on a syllabus at the beginning of the year.”

The student added that Rehburg “never encouraged us to do anything bad” and “made sure to make it clear that students should drop out of class if they weren’t prepared for the topics covered.”

“Censoring this at the high school level while allowing all sorts of liberal indoctrination is hypocritical at best,” they added.

One person criticized the parents who complained, saying they need to “grow up and learn for themselves”.

Another commented, “People would rather have their kids learn from other kids and the internet than have a safe place to ask a knowledgeable educator questions they’re afraid to ask out loud.”

Meanwhile, Molly Kurzbard, the mother of an El Dorado High student, said Rehburg is “everyone’s favorite teacher.”

“She’s nice,” Kurzbard told The Orange County Register. “She loves nature, plants, birds and all biology.”

In 2016, the California Board of Education approved sweeping sex education legislation incorporating inclusivity in health education through the California Healthy Youth Act.

That law states, “Teaching must explicitly recognize that people have different sexual orientations, and when discussing or providing examples of relationships and couples, same-sex relationships must also be included.”

The Association of Placentia Linda Educators, which represents Rehburg, declined comment and Rehburg could not be reached immediately.

Board members and El Dorado High Principal Joey Davis shared the district’s statement.
