Spain: A bus with 50 passengers on board overturns, serious injuries

On this Saturday evening around 11 p.m., a bus with 50 people overturned on the Spanish motorway, reports The Independent. The bus operated on the Barcelona-Alicante-Algeciras line.

The reasons for the accident remain unclear. The driver presented negative blood alcohol and drug test results.

No deaths were reported, but around ten people were injured, two seriously. A pregnant woman sustained head trauma and a man an open fracture of the upper arm. They were cared for by the hospital service.
