Recently, a British Airways Boeing 787 experienced unpredictable weather at the airport. As the plane was about to land, it aborted the landing at the last moment.

The Boeing lies well aligned on the runway in the cloudy and foggy sky of the British capital. It gradually loses height. A few meters above the ground it sways slightly under the force of the wind, although the pilot tries to keep the nose up.
While we assume that the front wheel of the plane hits the tarmac first, the plane is buffeted by the wind and it is the landing gear that hits the ground a moment before the pilot flies around again.
The landing was aborted and the British Airways Boeing took to the air again, probably for a second lap of the runway to attempt the maneuver again.

“Excellent aborted landing of a crazy Boeing 787 at LHR,” reads the description of the video, which has been viewed more than 94,000 times since it was posted online.
In the comment section, many Internet users do not understand why the pilot decided to take a scenic flight even though the plane had touched the ground.

Others seem to understand the significance of the decision to abort the landing. They continually praise the pilot’s skills and his ability to make such a decision so quickly.
