Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 players believe Daredevil Easter eggs were scattered across the map to tease future content featuring Matt Murdock.
Insomniac Games’ first Spider-Man had numerous Matt Murdock/Daredevil references. For example, one of Peter’s backpacks contains a business card from the law firm Nelson and Murdock.
Keen-eyed players may also come across Fogwell Gym while strolling around New York. This particular location is notable because it is where Matt’s father, Jack, trained as a boxer. But the Spider-Man game’s most significant Easter egg came in the form of the Nelson and Murdock law firm.

In the 2018 adventure, the practice had a nice plaque near the entrance, although a red notice on the door indicated that business was not thriving.
This office is still present in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, but the plaque is missing. Of course, fans think there’s more to the story, especially since a side quest ends with Peter mentioning “lawyer friends” who could help solve some legal problems.

Of course he couldn’t say much, but he said, “That’s a good question.” Stay tuned. But it’s a nice find.” IGN shared Intihar’s reaction with fans on Twitter/X, and speculation is already starting to get wild.
Insomniac Games Spider-Man 2 is missing Nelson and Murdock’s usual cabinet plaque.
Many assume that the missing plaque means that Insomniac’s Spider-Man universe will have more on the Murdock/Daredevil story in the future. In response to the IGN post, one fan wrote: “A Daredevil DLC?”
Another fan mentioned that small details like this usually matter in one way or another. “I felt like the record change was a conscious decision. Insomniac pays great attention to the small details of its games. Let’s hope Daredevil shows up!”

Since Insomniac seems to be expanding its Marvel Universe, a Daredevil appearance in the future doesn’t seem too far-fetched. The studio already has a Wolverine game in production.
Additionally, Spider-Man 2’s final act sets up a potentially interesting third installment. The developers have also expressed interest in potentially exploring a spin-off focused on Venom. There could then be a small space in the program for an appearance by the man without fear.
