SQ asks public for help in identifying body of man found in river

The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) is asking for the public’s help in identifying the body of a man found earlier this month in the Saint Lawrence River in Saint-Zotique, Montérégie.

The unknown victim is about 30 years old. Her body was discovered on the afternoon of May 2 by a woman cleaning the backyard of her cottage.

The body was under a dock. So far, the police have no information that allows conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the man found.

When the person was spotted, she was wearing a blue T-shirt with a cannabis leaf and the words “adipot” on it, and blue sweatpants.

He wore a gold ring on his right hand, a bracelet on his right wrist, and a chain around his neck.

The man also had the word “warrior” tattooed on his right arm along with a dove and a lotus flower.

According to our information, the man’s death was not the result of a criminal offense.
