SQ Manhunt Against Group Of Suspected Pimps

Garrentz Célestin, 26, of Trois-Rivières, Jimson Pierre, 25, of Repentigny, Gerald Junior Charles, 25, of Laval, and Kimberly Champagne, 25, of Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil, appeared at the Drummondville courthouse.

Their arrests stem from an Integrated Pimping Squad (EILP) investigation that began more than a year ago.

According to the Sûreté du Québec, the alleged crimes occurred in March 2022 in Montreal, the Lanaudière region and Center-du-Québec, and several New Brunswick cities.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police participated in this criminal investigation.

The group now faces a range of charges including procuring a person under the age of 18, human trafficking, obtaining material benefits from human trafficking and sexual assault.
