The National Hockey League (NHL) is making every effort to present the Stanley Cup Finals and three music megastars will be performing pre-game concerts.
The Bettman Circuit on Friday announced the identity of the artists who have been invited to a series of shows that will span Games 1-3.
On Saturday, before the first duel of the final round, DJ Marshmello will set the powder alight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. A Philadelphia native, real name Christopher Comstock, has amassed billions of streams on content delivery platforms thanks to hits like “Alone” and “Silence.”
Two days later, the atmosphere at the Golden Knights amphitheater could be completely different when Atlanta rapper Lil Jon takes the mic. Active since the late 1990s, he made a name for himself lending his voice to tracks such as Turn Down for What, Get Low and Gasolina.
In the first matchup presented Thursday at the FLA Live Arena, the NHL finally chose another name well known to radio stations: Flo Rida. The “Low” singer will be performing a free concert outside of the arena at Sunrise.
All Stanley Cup Final games will be broadcast on TVA Sports.
