But gravity—and the weight of countless bags of ground coffee—had other ideas.
Chelsea Looker straightened her knees and lowered her back in preparation for lifting weights before slinging her sack over her shoulder at a Starbucks branch in Tucson.
As soon as Chelsea threw the bag over her, she fell sharply.
But at least she landed softly on the plastic bag.
The barista and her colleagues burst out laughing at the gaffe, which was filmed by another employee and has since gone viral after being posted online on February 25.
Chelsea said: “I threw the espresso bag over my shoulder, fell and landed on him.
“I made sure it was double-packed with really strong bags and tied tightly so nothing would fall out.”
Chelsea threw her back over her shoulder, but she was too heavy before tipping over like a bowling pin.
