Is having a lot of credits something that interests you about Starfield? Here’s a bug that allows you to steal money from the start of the game without being detected!
You know this if you play Starfield: Credits are by far the most important resource in the game, and they’re not necessarily easy to recover…in theory. Because with this glitch you will be able to get rich without actually having to engage in the main story of the game to earn a few credits. This is about a plan that will secure your wealth over several virtual generations without being recognized! All you need is: a melee weapon !
Go in Alpha Centauri system with your ship, destination planet Jemison in business district. Once you arrive, turn around, take the subway and decide to go there Spaceport. Walk forward until you see your ship. Take the opposite slope and turn left. You will then see a Marine technician right next to you Trade Authority kiosk.
Go back down the slope you just took by holding onto the right wall. You will then see a first orange warning screen who sends a message. Stay right and keep going to see a second one. Everything will happen right next to it. To the right of this screen you will see a door. Aim for the wall directly to the left of this door.
Take out your melee weapon (we used a knife) and stand on the small white strip. The goal here is to look forward, jump back, and press protect (right-click on PC) and forward in the middle of your jump. If you time it right, you will see your character suddenly sprint forward. Try it a few times and position yourself correctly each time and you’ll eventually get through that wall.
Once you’re in limbo, you simply need to return to the plane of Marine technician, and you’ll see a chest a little further up as you take the slope. Jump to easily climb the rock and collect it the 72,000 credits who are waiting for you. This chest respawns every 48 hours of play. So sleep in your ship next door for 48 hours and then start again until you get rich.
Are there any other glitches in Starfield?
It should be noted that this error may mean something to you if you know Bethesda games. For the latter, in fact, it is a habit to place an underground chest, normally inaccessible, to manage an NPC’s inventory. So this error also appeared in Skyrim, Fallout New Vegas, etc. It’s almost an Easter egg!
As for other exploits:
Of course, we’ll keep you updated if other equally interesting glitches come to light.
