As part of its 30th anniversary, the Complaint Assistance and Support Center (CAAP) Mauricie – Centre-du-Québec launched the first episode of its brand new podcast, Together for Better Services, in early February.

In the introductory episode, Janik Ouimet, Director of the CAAPMCQ, Marie-Anne Genest-Roy, Advisor to the CAAPMCQ and host of the podcast, explain that this initiative “aims to raise awareness, through initiatives, of how certain people and certain organizations function.” and innovative approaches to do things differently, well and better! That even when resources are scarce, it is possible to improve services by thinking outside the box. Improving services is not just about complaints, but also about being inspired by good things and by people who have been able to make it better in their own way in other ways. »

The CAAPMCQ therefore met with stakeholders from the health and social services sector who take a different approach to improving services, always aiming to express an innovative and positive approach.

In this first episode, Dr. Antoine Groulx, scientific co-director, and Catherine Wilhelmy, patient partner co-director of the SSA Support Unit, their work within this organization, which strives for a health system that continuously improves through the mobilization and application of experience, scientific, clinical and organizational knowledge. They explain how you can contribute to a learning healthcare system, regardless of your experience and expertise.
