“STAT”: Will Eric make it?

The action begins where we left off before the holidays STAT. Emmanuelle (Suzanne Clément) tries to save her boyfriend Éric (Stéphane Rousseau) from certain death after he is poisoned with ricin.

Eric is in bad shape and desperately needs a dose of antibodies. Because this is an experimental treatment, we don't know if he will survive. It would certainly be a great loss for Marie-Andrée Labbé's medical daily if this figure were to disappear.

Emmanuelle and Éric therefore reached the military base in Trenton, Ontario, where he will be administered this antidote. Although the nurse is unwell, he is still sane as he notes that Dr. Davis (Thomas Beaudoin) is “sexy”.

Also, can we try to save Mrs. Lalonde (Chantal Baril), who lies between life and death in Saint-Vincent Hospital? While caring for her, Eric became infected. We'll also learn more about the origin of this ricin contamination this week, as STAT returns from the holiday break.

Isabelle was betrayed by Daniel

As we know, Isabelle (Geneviève Schmidt) surprised Daniel (Bruno Marcil) having sex on her kitchen counter when she returned from the Middle East without warning. But why did she come back without saying anything?

The surgeon feels betrayed, but Philippe (Patrick Labbé) reminds her that she also betrayed Daniel. It's nice to see the actress again in STAT, who was absent from the intrigues this fall to star in the film Our Sisters-in-Law by René Richard Cyr.

Philippe's big secrets

Speaking of Philippe, we know he's had a big year since one of his patients blew himself up in front of him. The psychiatrist separated from Delphine (Virginie Ranger-Beauregard) and accompanied his daughter Rosalie (Marine Johnson) in her toxic relationship with Francis (Antoine DesRochers). He also carries heavy secrets within him – as they gradually reveal to us – and the pressure on his shoulders grows. Her relationship with Jacob (Lou-Pascal Tremblay) doesn't improve either. He is waiting impatiently for the message from the investigator who is supposed to find out more about his father's story.

Produced by Aetios Productions, the company of Fabienne Larouche and Michel Trudeau, the daily STAT is back this Monday at 7 p.m. on ICI Télé.
