Good news from our neighboring country: the 2G obligation is no longer applicable in hotels, shops and also in local transport. Italy is one of the last European countries to relax crown regulations.
End of 2G obligation
As of tomorrow, April 1st, the mandatory use of 2G in hotels, shops and local public transport ends. So, you no longer need proof of vaccination, recovery or tests if you want to enjoy “la dolce vita”. Quarantine regulations are also changing, contact persons of infected people can leave the house at any time. You no longer need proofs for museums, exhibitions and other cultural sites.
Still 2G in the cinema
From April 1 to April 30, 2022, you will still need a 2G ID at cinema, theater and concerts. You must also use an FFP2 mask.
