Former Britain’s Got Talent contestant Michalakis “Lagi” Andreas has welcomed his second child with wife Annika Crawford – 13 months after tying the knot.
The couple took to their respective Instagram accounts on Sunday to announce the news with a sweet black-and-white picture showing their hands next to the hands of their newborn and 19-month-old daughter, Xenia.
They announced that they have named their new daughter Demetria Demetriou – inspired by his father’s name Demetrios.
Demetrios and Demetria are the Latin male and female forms of the ancient Greek name Dēmḗtrios, also known as Demetris – meaning “dedicated to the goddess Demeter.”
Back in July, hairdresser Andreas, who gained fame alongside his father Demetrios as British Cypriot dance artist Stavros Flatley, confirmed in posts on his Instagram and TikTok platforms that they were expecting Demetria.

Good news: Back in July, hairdresser Andreas, who gained fame alongside his father Demetrios as British Cypriot dance artist Stavros Flatley, confirmed in posts on his Instagram and TikTok platforms that they were expecting Demetria
The former reality TV star posted a video montage for his 27,000 followers, sharing footage from his stunning coastal wedding in September 2022, as well as edited clips of the couple with Xenia.
The video ended with Crawford revealing her baby bump while cradling the child, confirming that baby number two is on the way. In the caption of the post, Andreas wrote: “I guess we’ll do it all again, we couldn’t do it with anyone better.”
Along with father Demetrios, the 27-year-old shot to fame when he reached the final of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, coming fourth behind Julian Smith, Diversity and eventual winner Susan Boyle.
Famous for their bleach blonde wigs, tattooed torsos and shirtless performances, the pair returned for Britain’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2019 and came in second place.
Andreas later left the duo to concentrate on running his hair salon in Cyprus.

He told the publication: “We’ve been doing this for fun for ten years. “We’ve done so many amazing things, but what’s left to do? We did the Royal Variety, we played China, Monaco – everywhere.
“So when we got to The Champions I thought it was the right time to go. But Simon Cowell told me not to stop forever.’

Former Britain’s Got Talent star Andreas exchanged wedding vows with Crawford in September, six months after the birth of their first child.
A picture taken by Nick & Aimie Wild in Beziique and shared by Andreas on Instagram shows the couple posing next to a beautiful Cypriot sunset after being declared husband and wife.
Another picture showed Lagi handing his new wife her bouquet of flowers as they prepared to exchange vows in a Greek Orthodox ceremony planned by Katie at Marry Me Cyprus.
In the post’s caption, he wrote, “Thank you to every single person who made this evening so special… All of our bridesmaids and groomsmen and everyone else who did everything they could for us!” We love you all. Mr and Mrs Demetriou.’
Andreas and Crawford had been together for five years and announced their engagement on New Year’s Eve 2020.
In April 2022, he announced that the couple had welcomed their first child together, sharing a sweet black-and-white photo of himself and Annika holding their little baby’s hand.
