In Windsor, Ontario, unvaccinated workers at the Stellantis plant will return to work on June 25.
This news, first reported by the Windsor Star, comes after an arbitration between Stellantis and the Windsor Plant Labor Union.
The unvaccinated employees had been on unpaid leave since January. “We felt from day one that this was unfair and unreasonable,” said Dave Cassidy, president of Unifor Local 444.

According to comments collected by the Windsor Star, the arbitration panel agreed that the actions taken by Stellantis were deemed reasonable when implemented, but that they would have no reason to do so after June 25th.
