Stênio Garcia vents after hospitalization: “My fear was not being able to walk anymore”

Actor Stênio Garcia, 91, took to social media to vent after being released after being hospitalized for blood poisoning. In a video, he shows how he does light exercise, one of the treatments for his recovery, and reiterates his hopes: “Better days are coming.”

On his Instagram profile, this Thursday afternoon, the 13th, Stênio shared the fear of complications following a hospital stay. “After almost a week in the hospital, I was discharged to continue my recovery at home and I was afraid of losing my autonomy and not being able to walk and do things on my own,” he shared.

“My wife and angel, Mari Saade, insisted on rehabilitating me with light movements necessary for everyday life and I hope with much confidence and perseverance that I can resume my routine soon,” continued the actor away. Thanks be to the support he received from his wife.

“My wife who hasn’t left me for a second and is home rehabilitating me and all this wonderful energy of prayers I’m receiving because better days are coming,” he thanked.

Garcia, who was still in the mail, concluded by asking for prayers from fans and thanking hospital staff. “I ask you to continue in the prayer chain and whenever I achieve more I will share it here with you who pray so much and cheer for me and I am the doctors at Samaritan Hospital who saved me, very grateful,” he said.
