Author and actor Stéphane E. Roy began filming the comedy in Cuba on Monday Pedal boatan adaptation of the play of the same name, which he has been presenting on stage since 2022.

Filming for the film will last until November 4th. In addition to directing the feature film, Stéphane E. Roy plays one of the four main roles, surrounded by Marc Fournier, Camille Felton and Catherine Proulx-Lemay.
Described as “a closed session at sea for discerning ears,” Pédalo tells the story of two longtime friends in their late forties who embark on a trip to an all-inclusive hotel in Cuba with their respective spouses. Unfortunately, their stay doesn’t go as planned and the two men find themselves on a pedal boat that no longer works.
A few years ago, Stéphane E. Roy (9 – The Film) wrote the text of the comedy Pédalo together with his good friend Benoit Roberge.
