On Sunday, part of the cast of Star Académie’s first cohort visited the set of Tout le monde en parole to talk about their big reunion show that will take place next January. More details here.
When the event was announced, Stéphane Mercier was not scheduled to be present. On the other hand, last Thursday he changed his mind and explained himself to Guy A. Lepage.
“Since I stopped singing professionally, I’ve been selling Volkswagens, I said to myself: ‘Well… I like my life like this…'” he said at first.
He adds: “I started thinking about all this again. There was a little stress, but I’d rather have the stress of going than the regret of not doing it. »
The former forester was very honest with the host about his situation at the time and his special relationship with the Star Académie.
He makes it clear that he doesn’t regret being on reality TV, but that he regrets not being the man he should have been. “I don’t want to hide from you that I used a lot of cannabis back then, I stopped a year ago and now I see that I could have benefited more from this experience. »
François Babin also spoke about his difficult times after the Star Académie. “I became a father, I separated, I was far from my friends, I had no balance. But today I am one of the happiest men on the planet. […] When I got up yesterday morning, it was the first time that I took on the role of a man who has become what he always dreamed of. »
