His father Liam remains a top target for Irish police investigating the alleged activities of the Kinahan Cartel and a gang, dubbed by the High Court as the Byrne Organized Crime Group, of which he is the leader.
His son Lee has nothing to do with the criminal underworld and previously dated influencer Daisey O’Donnell before they split earlier this year.

Byrne fled Ireland after the Garda Criminal Assets Bureau seized millions of pounds of his assets in 2019.
The CAB also seized dozens of heavy-duty vehicles, jewelry, bank accounts and Byrne’s Raleigh Square home in Crumlin, which appeared to have been equipped with a panic room and hot tub.
Gardai are still reportedly hunting Byrne and still investigating the alleged activities of the oldest members of the Kinahan Cartel, having imprisoned many of their lieutenants in recent years.
Those jailed include Byrne’s cousin “Fat” Freddie Thompson, who is serving his life for helping carry out the 2016 gangland murder of David “Daithi” Douglas in downtown Dublin.
