A Finnish Airbus A321 made two landing attempts in Manchester under catastrophic conditions.
Storm Pia has been unleashed in recent days, particularly on the British Isles. Many areas were hit by extremely strong winds.
Particularly eventful was the landing of a flight between Helsinki and Manchester, which went somewhat unnoticed during the day on Thursday, but in the last few hours the images have resurfaced.
It must be said that the pilot of this Airbus A321 showed amazing composure to land his aircraft in Dante conditions.
The Finnair flight had waited for some time north of Manchester before receiving permission to land at the destination airport. But after a first failed attempt, the plane returned to the end of the runway.
But the gusts of wind blew the plane so hard that it made an incredible landing, as images filmed that day show.
At almost 100 km/h, the aircraft was shaken all over before a first set of tires and then a second set of tires bounced off the tarmac and managed to stabilize the entire aircraft.
But looking at the pictures, it's easy to imagine the fears the passengers must have had during the landing, which ultimately ended well.
