The team from Brazil posted a video of the complete makeup process on their Instagram Jamie Campbell Bower have to happen to become the villain. Who took the picture? Barrie GowerProsthetic makeup designer and responsible for the creation of Vecna along with the team at BGFX.

The makeup team used more than 20 pieces of prosthetics on Jamie C. Bower’s body and the whole process took time from six to nine hours to be ready. The actor also plays the character One, which gives rise to the telekinesis children’s show that Eleven (Eleven) later participates in in the series’ timeline. In an interview with Variety, he admitted he was scared of himself playing Vecna.
The look of the most “human” monster to appear in Stranger Things was partially inspired by the King of the Night, from Game of Thrones, a production that also starred Barrie Gower. In his words to CinemaBlend, “The Duffer brothers saw our work on Game of Thrones and really loved the Night King. They also loved what we did with the radiation burns on the Chernobyl series. I think they wanted a combination of both “stuff”.
Stranger Things is currently the most popular Englishlanguage production on Netflix and has already set several records on and off the streaming platform thanks to its current season. There are still unanswered questions and what remains for us is to wait for the final two episodes that will be released that day July 1.
