Adam Thomas performed his best dance in the competition so far on Saturday as he wowed his brothers and the judges with his waltz.
However, it appears the Waterloo Road actor was forced to take some time off from training this week as he revealed he has fallen ill.
The 35-year-old actor has been juggling his role on the BBC hit school drama as well as his training on Strictly and it seems he’s finally got the upper hand.
Taking to Instagram, the star shared a snap of himself lying in bed nursing his head. He looked a bit worn out.
He captioned the post: “All weeks off to be bad!” with a sad emoji.

This week, Adam and his partner Luba Mushtuk will perform their Couple’s Choice set to a medley of Backstreet Boys hits.
The boy from Manchester is known for his cheesy grin and stage presence, so this gig will no doubt see him shine once he’s fully recovered.
Adam left his famous brothers Scott and Ryan in tears as he performed his emotional waltz to Curtis Stigers’ I Wonder Why last weekend.
His elegant waltz received great applause from the audience and praise from the jury.
His twin brother and Love Island star Scott and Coronation Street actor Ryan burst into tears during his performance – as did Luba himself.
Afterward, Adam said, “I loved it.” It’s like a movie out there.
“That’s why I wanted to do Strictly.” I grumble. Two years ago I didn’t actually have a job, but now I have two!’
Reflecting on the performance on social media afterwards, Adam wrote: “There are no words to describe how that felt last night!!”

Scott, 35, appeared on the second season of Love Island in 2016, where he was paired with Kady McDermott.
Ryan is now best known for his role as Jason Grimshaw in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 2000 to 2016, as well as his starring roles in Neighbors.
Judge Anton Du Beke commented: “I can’t even speak!” I’m amazed at how much you’ve improved.
“This topline is the best topline I’ve seen in the entire series. “I’m literally speechless.”
Craig added: “Adam, that’s a bit more to the point!”
Meanwhile, presiding judge Shirley Ballas said she was “blown away” by the dance.
Adam was thrilled to receive four out of eight points from the judges, giving him an overall score of 32 – the judges praised his dedicated effort and improvement.
