Strike at AGROPUR | At a time when consumers are angry that milk refrigerators have been empty for several days, Agropur union members have reached an agreement with their employer.

TVA Nouvelles learned that the offer was accepted by the employees on Sunday. Therefore, they will gradually return to work from Monday, said Mylène Dupéré, vice president of communications at Agropur.

Recall that the Agropur union launched a strike last Monday after rejecting an offer from the factory party the day before.

The strike by union members at the Saint-Laurent plant had a significant impact on the milk supply in grocery stores, with several refrigerators empty in recent days.
