Globo announced that Coração de Estudante (2002) has been added to the soap opera catalog on the company’s streaming platform, Globoplay. The plot was created by Emanuel Jacobina in collaboration with Bosco Brasil, Cristianne Fridman, Júlio Fischer, Max Mallmann and Nelson Nadotti, with text supervision by Carlos Lombardi. The production had just been shown on Viva, the conglomerate’s subscription channel.

However, the romance comes to an end when Edu falls in love with law professor Clara (Helena Ranaldi) and joins her in fighting the excesses of his future fatherinlaw, who wants to build a hydroelectric power station in a protected forest area on the outskirts of the university.

After creating several situations to separate the couple, Amelinha unexpectedly becomes pregnant by Nélio (Vladimir Brichta) the clumsy farm hand who is in love with her and lies that the child belongs to Edu. The relationship becomes even more tense when the new prosecutor Pedro (Bruno Garcia) comes to town, who falls in love with Clara and has a strange lovehate relationship due to her strong temper.
