Strong growth in demand will benefit tourism in Vietnam

According to the head of the national tourism authority, Nguyen Trung Khanh, the global tourism industry will see strong growth this year, which will create favorable conditions for this Southeast Asian nation.

So far this year, Vietnam has registered the arrival of 871,000 international travelers, a figure that represents an increase of 23.2 percent compared to last December, and brought in $93.6 million in revenue.

The majority of foreign travelers (91.9 percent) arrive by air, 7.5 percent by road and just under 0.6 percent by sea.

In order to attract a larger influx of international visitors in 2023, according to the VNA news agency, the National Tourism Administration will increase the promotion of its products and destinations at international Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) events and at some of the key industry fairs.

The company itself will organize the National Year of Tourism 2023 with the theme “Binh Thuan – Green Convergence” in cooperation with Binh Thuan Province, while the Tourist Information Center has already released a video clip with the slogan “Golf Tourism – Enjoy Every Moment.”
