A stunning seven-bedroom home in Pebble Beach, California, owned by the WeatherTech founder has hit the market for a record $39 million.
David MacNeil, the auto parts retailer's CEO, has put his 7,500-square-foot home with a putting green in the gated community up for sale.
According to agent Tim Allen of Coldwell Banker Realty, this home is adjacent to MacNeil's other property in Pebble Beach.
If the home sells for the asking price, it could mark a record for the beach resort community, as the previous highest sale occurred last year at $36.3 million.
The house was built in 2000 and has since been completely renovated by MacNeil.

MacNeil told Mansion Global: “If I keep it, it's phenomenal. “I love it. On the other hand, we want to see if we can find a great family that wants to live in this house. “It’s a phenomenal house and it deserves a great family.”
Both the interior and exterior of the house are equipped with amenities and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
There are six tall stone fireplaces, a billiards room and a wine room that holds 1,000 bottles, Allen revealed.
MacNeil founded WeatherTech in 1989 after becoming “dissatisfied with the quality of existing car floor mats.”
The kitchen is equipped with a large stove and stove as well as a long kitchen island and space for a table.
The large master closet has plenty of storage space, illuminated by accent lights along the shelves and drawers.
The wine room is paneled in wood and has custom slots for endless amounts of bottles. There's even a door with a touchpad lock on one of the walls and a minibar for storing and preparing drinks.
Several bedrooms have their own fireplaces with plenty of natural light and access to a terrace.
The entrance is lit by a large circular abstract light fixture that features exposed dark wooden beams at the top and side.
One of the bedrooms has a private island with sink, cabinets and space for appliances.
The mansion's backyard features a personal putting green, as well as several fire pits, a barbecue area and a bocce ball court – one of MacNeil's favorite games

In addition to the private putting green, the impressive entertainment area also features a bocce ball court, which MacNeil said he added because he loves the game.
There is a huge driveway in front of the house with a fountain in the middle, and there is a three-car garage attached to the beach house.
MacNeil also had the roof replaced with copper and created a custom entry door. He did not give an exact price for the renovation, which he completed months ago, but said the total cost exceeded $10 million.
He said he usually used the property as a guest house and occasionally stayed there himself.
According to realtor.com, the average listing price of a home in Pebble Beach as of November 2023 is $5.4 million.

The CEO founded WeatherTech in 1989. He founded the company at his home in Clarendon Hills, Illinois, after becoming “dissatisfied with the quality of existing car floor mats.”
Initially the mats were imported from England, but in 2007 MacNeil decided to move all production to the USA and opened factories in a suburb of Chicago.
