Successor star Brian Cox was toast for his ill-fitting leather pants after his recent appearance on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon.
The 77-year-old actor amused fans as he strutted onto the stage in a pinstripe shirt, camel leather pants and bright brogues.
As the star took his seat, he also suffered an unfortunate wardrobe malfunction, with his trousers riding up and his lower legs showing.
Amused fans took to social media and one wrote: “Fire your stylist immediately,” while another typed: “Brian Cox is years old and does whatever he wants.”

The star recently admitted that he is grieving the loss of privacy due to his celebrity status, saying it is very “important” to him.
Brian told The Guardian: “I lost my anonymity and I realized that was the most important thing for me.”
“I’ve never experienced anything like this before.” I mean, you demand success in your work, and you get it, and then you have to deal with the consequences.
“I’ve always valued my privacy, but it’s gone.” I’m very lucky to have had it for so long.
“You know, I’ve been doing this for over 60 years.” And it’s finally over.’
Brian also shared how he turned down other roles in big blockbusters like Game of Thrones and Pirates of the Caribbean.
He revealed that he was offered the role of a king named Robert Baratheon in Game of Thrones, but turned down the role because there wasn’t enough money and the character was killed off early.

Brian nabbed a Golden Globe for his role, but told Barley Magazine that his success came with a price.
Earlier this year he explained: “It’s been a phenomenal journey for me.” There’s no doubt it’s changed my life in many ways.
“I’ve lost my anonymity, you know, I’ve lost all of that.” That’s all gone. I used to be the guy you’d say, “Oh, you were in so and so, or no, or no, you weren’t”… but now I’m Logan Roy and everyone just wants me to tell them, they should fuck. * out of!’
He spoke about how fans often ask him for “fucking selfies,” saying, “I say you can have one for $500.”
