Summer party: The Cowboys Fringants show resumed Monday night – Le Journal de Québec

The Festival d’été and the Cowboys Fringants are not giving up. The show, canceled Thursday night due to bad weather, will resume on Monday in the Plains of Abraham, TVA Nouvelles has learned.

That’s why FEQ is extending its 2023 edition by one day to allow the popular group and their staunch admirers to gather on the Plains for the eleventh time.

The schedule will be the same as originally planned for Thursday. Sara Dufour, whose Thursday performance was canceled to forestall that of the Cowboys, will take the stage at 7 p.m. Robert Charlebois, who was only able to sing for 40 minutes before having to leave the stage on Thursday, will therefore be able to give his full show at 8 p.m. The Cowboys Fringants will then take possession of the Plains at 9:30 p.m.

A press conference is scheduled for 11 a.m. where full details of the resumption of the concert will be announced.

Festival organizers are currently in a race against time to ensure all tickets are valid on Monday night.
