His stage name is not insignificant
If he’s nicknamed Pitbull, it’s not without reason. In his bio, Pitbull: Mr. Worldwide, the rapper explains that the dog breed metaphor suits him well. Growing up in Dade County, Florida, where pit bulls are banned, was a constant struggle. “You are pretty much everything I am; They bite to snatch what they want, they are stubborn and refuse to lose. When I’m told I can’t do something, it motivates me immensely.”
He will be touring with Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias this fall
Pitbull is one of a trio of popular Latin music figures of the early 2000s alongside Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias. Their tour, The Trilogy Tour, will conclude at the Bell Center on October 20th. We’re betting his achievements, along with those of his two henchmen, will make for a dance show full of memories.

Expect to be amazed at the performances of what his friend Usher describes as “a committed gentleman on the stage.” Pitbull loves fashion and beautiful clothes. His branded and tailored costumes represent the singer’s fact that his art has taken him off the streets.
He’s more than just a rapper
The musician is also a savvy businessman, owning a line of perfumes for men and women, a television development company and having partnerships with several big brands, including Kodak, Voli Vodka and Bud Light.
A Pitbull concert means ‘good times’
“Good time” seems to be the term most often used by fans and critics to describe the performances offered by Pitbull. Expect fun, recognize some familiar tracks (I Know You Want Me, JUMPIN, Don’t Stop The Party, Hey Baby, Gasolina) and wiggle all evening in the company of the Cuban-born 42-year-old rapper. As for the dancers who accompany him on stage, their choreographed movements certainly help raise the temperature even more.
