Sam Mac’s Brutal Farewell Jab From Sunrise Weatherman To Outgoing Host David “Kochie” Koch: “It’s Real Proof Of How Much You Are Loved”
Sam Mac engaged in a hilarious slugfest with outgoing Sunrise host David “Kochie” Koch on his final day as host of the premier breakfast show.
During his weather post, Mac pointed out that the Sunrise offices were almost completely empty when Koch left.
“Very exciting day, emotional, a real testament to how much you are loved Kochie when I look at all the staff here,” Mac joked as the camera panned across the darkened office.
The slide didn’t end there, however, when Mac pointed out a hilarious sign on the door of Koch’s office.
The sign read “Olympicians Only,” a nod to the fact that the 67-year-old was set to be replaced by Olympic sprinter Matt Shirvington.
