Super Bowl: A Cancer Survivor Will Be In The Big Game

Just days after receiving her final chemotherapy treatment, a Michigan woman will join the crowd in Glendale, Arizona, for Sunday night’s Super Bowl.

Beth Stamat is among the winners of a ticket raffle for the February 12th big game organized by PetSmart of Utica, Michigan. Basically, she believed in a fraud attempt.

“I was diagnosed with breast cancer last August on my 44th birthday,” Ms. Stamat revealed, according to Fox2 Detroit. I started treatments after that and found that I was a winner in a PetSmart raffle and I didn’t think that was true.”

Ms Stamat completed her last treatment on Monday. After pinching her arm to make sure she wasn’t dreaming, she had time to digest the good news and get organized for her trip. Her father, who accompanies her on her journey, claims that this will be an opportunity for her to change evil places.

“She needs it. With her cancer diagnosis, she needs something else in her life [survenu en août]. It makes him think,” he said.

Beth Stamat now hopes to inspire others by using her story to inspire people to pay more attention to their bodies.

The Super Bowl will be played at 6:30 p.m. Sunday night and will pit the Kansas City Chiefs against the Philadelphia Eagles.
