Super Bowl hero Patrick Mahomes is traveling to DISNEYLAND with his wife Brittany and two children Sterling and Bronze as part of the NFL tradition, a day after winning the Lombardi Trophy with the Kansas City Chiefs

Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes made the traditional trip to Disneyland on Monday, a day after winning his third Super Bowl.

Mahomes, who also won his third Super Bowl MVP, helped the Chiefs win the Lombardi Trophy in Las Vegas with a 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday.

It's customary for Super Bowl winners to travel with their families to the happiest place on earth after their victories, and Mahomes was no exception, traveling to the theme park for the third time.

The signal-caller, who also visited Disneyland after his 2020 and 2023 Super Bowl victories, appeared in the Main Street USA parade with his family.

“It's a tight schedule, we don't get a lot of sleep, but we enjoy every minute,” Mahomes said.

The images emerged shortly after the rest of the Chiefs team flew back to Kansas City from Vegas after a long night of partying.

Understandably, Mahomes seemed in good spirits at the parade as he waved to all the fans cheering him on at the parade.

But he wore sunglasses, which may have helped him hide the bags under his eyes after so little sleep. Mahomes and his wife Brittany were out in Sin City until about 3 a.m. Monday morning.

Earlier in the day, Brittany shared a picture of her and her kids at the resort, but Patrick wasn't in the pictures.

Mahomes, meanwhile, faced another round of media questions the morning after his team's great win.

There he emphasized his desire to lead the Chiefs to a three-peat, a feat never before accomplished in NFL history.

“No one has ever done that and we knew that winning two in a row was legendary,” Mahomes said. “I think eight other teams did it.” We'd heard it all week.

“We have to continue to play our best football.” “We will celebrate for the next few weeks and then get right back to it.”

Last year, he made the trip with his wife, Brittany, and their two young children, daughter Sterling and son Bronze, who were nearly two and three months old, respectively, at the time.

Mahomes once again delivered heroics for Chiefs Kingdom when he picked off Mecole Hardman, who stormed into the end zone in the final seconds of overtime at Allegiant Stadium, securing the back-to-back victory for Kansas City.

“This means a lot,” Mahomes said Monday. “I know how hard these guys work.”

“I know how tough these guys are afterwards. I know how hard the coaches work. I believe we are the hardest working team in the NFL and all of that hard work is paying off.

“That's something we always preach: We believe that we work for those moments, those moments at the end of the game, and that we prepare for them.”

“I never take it for granted that we can put our stamp on this great NFL history.”
