“Peach is here to play,” he writes Anya Taylor Joy on the Instagram post (which we attached to you at the end of the news). The actress appeared on the red carpet for Super Mario Bros wearing an all-pink jumpsuit (which we glean from Dior’s description of the same post) and brought the public a more belligerent peach than ever.
The actress seems very proud of the look, but on the other hand it doesn’t surprise us since Joy has declared to be proud of the video game adaptation. Even from this look, barely seen in previous video games, a slightly innovative take on Peach is perceived.
In an old interview, the star explained: “We had to say it a new peach for a new era. When I saw the whole film for the first time, I was very excited and also quite moved: little girls will have a new female-led role model everywhere. He’s a character who can inspire others.”
The film starring Chris Pratt and Anya Taylor-Joy is very close: the film will indeed be Available in cinemas from April 5th. But be warned: Super Mario Bros will have a post-credits scene!
