They wanted to ravage Pride in Idaho: 31 members of the white racist group Patriot Front were stopped in a truck in riot gear. One citizen “worried by a small army of men loading a van,” police warned. In a U-Haul, agents found and arrested 31 people, all dressed alike, with covered faces and riot gear, but also a detailed plan to attack the town of Coeur d’Alene in different areas. The videos posted on social networks show the 31 arrested, accused of plotting to revolt, kneeling on the ground with their hands behind their backs. One of them wore a sweatshirt that said “Reclaim America.” Police found riot gear, a smoke grenade, shin guards and shields inside the van, and the men wore patches and logos on their arms and hats that identified them as members of the Patriot Front. Those arrested come from at least 11 states.
