To meet the criteria required for DGNB certification, it is important that everyone involved – from the architect and specialist planner to the builder and individual professionals – work closely together. The DGNB only issues your certificate if all the measures implemented and their effects are proven in detail. In particular, the integration of innovative technologies and concepts that contribute to sustainability is seen positively.
With Kö-Bogen II, GEZE’s modern door technology has managed to accumulate important certification points. “Many of our products meet the sustainability requirements of the world’s leading green building rating systems, such as DGNB and LEED. We make this compliance transparent voluntarily by providing environmental product declarations (EPD) for our products”, explains Wolfgang Faßbender from GEZE. “In addition, our products are listed in the online databases DGNB-Navigator and greenbuildingproducts.eu and stored there with the corresponding certificates.” Certificates certify how many points a GEZE product can contribute to the successful certification of a building.
