(ANSA) – ROME, JAN 08 – Turkey, which has blocked Sweden and Finland’s applications for NATO membership for months, has made applications that Sweden cannot accept. That’s what Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said today.
“Turkey has confirmed that we have done what we promised, but they also want things that we cannot and do not want to give,” Kristersson said at a security conference attended by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. (HAND).
