He continued: “So you had to set parameters. No one comes into the bathroom and watches you brush your teeth.”

“You have to stay in this room,” added the “Rocky” star. “And it worked.”

Stallone went on to say that “99 percent” of the show was for “my daughters to explore their lives, see it, record it and I’ll manifest here and there.”

“I want to get real with my daughters,” he noted. “I’d actually like to have footage of that.”

The Tulsa King actor explained that while filming the series was “uncharted territory” for him, he found it “interesting” to give fans a glimpse into his personal life.

“I would have liked to see stars, growing up, seeing stars like, ‘Oh, this is Brando’s house making eggs and fooling around.’ That’s interesting,” he said.

“They are actually human. You don’t walk around with sunglasses and people putting makeup on and learning lines all day. They do really stupid, repetitive, silly things that we all do in life. Something like that.”

Stallone praised The Osbournes, the MTV reality show that followed the family life of Black Sabbath founder Ozzy Osbourne, for its authenticity.

“I think the first one to really get it right was Ozzy Osbourne,” he said. “He just didn’t care. ‘My dog shits on the floor, I’m not a superstar’.”

Last month, Stallone announced the reality show in a video he shared on his brother Frank’s Instagram page. In the clip, he said, “It was done by Bunim-Murray, who was the force behind the Kardashians, and it’s a very, very powerful cast.”

“It’s going to be incredible,” he added. “I’m on a reality show, I go in and out.”

Stallone said he was motivated to take part in the show because he wanted to spend time with his family. “And which is better?” he said. “When you’re dealing with each other all day and it’s going to film. I will always be there with the family in one form or another.”

Earlier this month, Stallone told that his biggest regret is not spending more time with his family due to his busy career. “That’s one of the reasons I wanted to do the reality show I took a lot of shit on,” he explained.

The actor told the outlet that without a script, the series would become “the ultimate home movie.”

Stallone also announced that his brief split with Flavin will be included in the show. In August, the former model filed for divorce from the actor after 25 years of marriage. However, the couple announced that they had reconciled at the end of September.

“Of course it’s part of the show,” he said. “It’s the John Lennon thing: ‘Life is what happens when you make other plans.’ Hopefully you’re dealing with people who understand the foibles of life, its fragility and how rare a truly good relationship is.”

“Sometimes I present the work [my family]and that is a tragic mistake that will not happen again.”
