Sylvester Stallone had his daughters undergo military training before moving to New York City.
Sylvester's eldest daughters, Sophia and Sistine, shared details of the grueling experience with the New York Post. The couple told the outlet that their father was uncomfortable allowing them to move to the Big Apple and insisted they receive self-defense training.

“Sophia and I got our asses kicked by these guys. They were awesome,” said 25-year-old Sistine. “And I'm not surprised that my dad did something like that to us, because we grew up with him doing military-like self-defense training like that our whole lives.”
Part of her training involved hunting and catching a chicken, which Sistine described as “deceptively difficult.”
“I went into it a little cocky, no pun intended,” she said. “The chicken hit me.”
During their conversation, Sophia recalled that her father always regimented this practice as a child and implanted it into her morning routine.
“It was a strict routine,” said Sophia, 27. “Every day at 6 a.m. he made us eat eggs with ketchup. For some reason this combination was… to bulk up.”
“But then there were lots of sit-ups, push-ups, pull-ups, exercises and drills,” Sophia continued.

Sistine and Sophia said they have been living in New York City for a year now, but Sylvester is still worried.
“I don’t think he’ll ever be less nervous,” Sistine said. “He’s like a classic overprotective father. Three daughters at an age where we’re, you know, out and about all over the place.”
The sisters' training and other machinations will be featured in the second season of The Family Stallone, premiering February 21 on Paramount+.
Sylvester fathered five children, including Sage – who died in 2012 – and Seargeoh with actress Sasha Czack. He later welcomed Sophia, Sistine and his youngest daughter Scarlett with former model Jennifer Flavin.
In May 2023, his three daughters spoke of Sylvester going “full Rambo” when they brought boys home. Rambo refers to Sylvester's gun-toting character who appeared in the film series of the same name.
